Tuesday, October 30 – The Frames (thanks, Christopher, for suggesting this one – I won’t say anything about Matthew, who knew about this group all along and never enlightened me…) If you want to know why I love this band, ask Christoper, he seems to know why I love music. (I can’t seem to put it into words like he does…)

I’m not one of the cool people – in the know about the newest indie music. I adore it, I just don’t have the ability to unearth the hidden gems like some of you do…So – most of what I will post here will be because you have graciously shared it with me. (Matthew, Lindsey, Destiny and Christopher – thanks for sharing your favorites with us!) Maybe one day I’ll open your eyes to something new…maybe…

Right now I’m listening to Iron and Wine, Feist, Mute Math, Patty Griffen, Jackson Waters, Brian and Jenn Johnson, Leeland Mooring, Ben Folds, Mindy Smith, Band of Horses, Derek Webb, Free Chapel Worship and my steady stream of jazz standards.

March 10, 2008 – OK, I know – it’s been a while since I’ve posted any new music…sorry! I love Phil Wickham – the self titled album….I picked this up at the Fellowship Church bookstore while at the C3 conference and I am in love…

March 27, 2008 – Kim Walker – Oh, My Lord! She is killing me right now. Check her out on the “We Cry Out” album and the “Awakening Youth – Everything” album. Wow – that’s all I can say right now…
