OK – so I love love love being a mommy – but I have to admit that I feel like my brains may run out of my ears at any moment. It’s been feasting on Noggin, baby slobber and a steady of diet of cleaning product fumes – not much else I’m sad to say. I’ve started about five different books and haven’t had the time or energy to actually get anything out of any of them let along make any progress on finishing any of them. And let’s not even talk about what else on my body is mushy. Geesh…

Uh oh… don’t get me back peddling again! Kidding – it’s ALL worth it, right?

You should try the recumbent bike. It’s great b/c you can ride and read at the same time…add some ambient tunes to your ipod, and you’re set. I can’t relate to the baby slobber, but hey…it could be MUCH worse. =)
mmm-hmmm. even when they get older it seems to continue. mine are 12 and 14 and im still mush. all the household stuff remains the same – but the kids duties change. for me, its gone from a more physical exhaustion to a mental exhaustion. my brain is a pile of uselessness right now. i have NO idea how to get around that at the moment.
Little do you know it, but you’re validating how I’ve felt the past few years right now. I’m glad to know it’s not just me being ungrateful for the task of being mommy to two little people.
Could explain my overwhelming urge to dive myself into all things productive (outside the house) and this urgent need to go back to school like right this second.
