Except the parts about the snow machine, baby and the geese, I have been feeling much the same way. I, too have been questioning my impact on others, how I stress out and miss opportunities to really appreciate the awesome people I am surrounded by. I have had a strong desire for more quality out of each day of my life.
Let me jump on my soapbox...
There seems to be this misuse of the word LIFE. Busy-ness and exhaustion are antithetical to what life should be. When our schedule is too tight for unplanned conversations, home cooked meals or random acts of kindness, we miss out on so many opportunities God is placing before us. When we spend a whole day without even noticing and enjoying the amazing natural world God gave us, we are not living. When text messaging and email replaces face to face interaction and we are incapable of creating a sanctuary without constant interruption, we deprive ourselves of life essentials.
Recently I have prioritized taking time to nurture friendships that have distanced over time and begun to cultivate new ones. It has been so refreshing and so revealing to what I have missed. I am learning to take in each moment and trust that God will help me get it all done.

Maybe I need to become a blogger so I won't write so much on yours, but then I would have to spend more time inside, and you know I hate that.

By the way, you inspire me and I know I'm not alone.
